A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a November disclosure of a rare leukemia diagnosis.

News of her death was confirmed in a public statement from the presidential library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

Within a published essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
