Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
